ABSTRACT

Introduction: The rotary evaporator (or rotavapor) is a device used in chemistry to quickly distil solvents, to partially concentrate a solution or to dry concentrate (remove all the solvent) a solution or suspension. Objective: Describe in detail the different steps of using the rotary evaporator in order to avoid handling accidents. Conclusion: This technique allows us to concentrate our plant extract solutions more quickly.

RESUME

Introduction : L'évaporateur rotatif (ou rotavapor) est un appareil utilisé en chimie afin de distiller rapidement des solvants, dans le but de concentrer partiellement une solution ou pour concentrer à sec (on enlève tout le solvant) une solution ou une suspension. Objectif : Décrire de manière détaillée les différentes étapes de l’utilisation de l’évaporateur rotatif afin d’éviter des accidents de manipulation. Conclusion : Cette technique permet de concentré plus rapidement nos solutions d’extraits végétaux.
